Medibank customers make over 1M hospital visits per year. Analysis of hospital visits - known as separations - is essential for contract negotiations. InfoSpring helped Medibank develop and validate a robust method of grouping medical claims into hospital separations.
PROCESS
Extracted and blended data from multiple sources to develop a hospital claims database.
Preliminary analysis on 1 years' worth of claims data informed grouping logic and initial code.
